EEF In-House Latte Art Competition

On April 15, 2026, we held our first in-house latte art competition at EEF.
It was a small initiative, but one shaped by time, repetition, and genuine effort from each person.

Rather than simply a test of skill, it became a moment to share how each of us approaches coffee.
Koalas, roses, flowers, and hearts appeared on each cup, each one carrying its own story.

What stood out most was that participation wasn’t limited to baristas.
Team members from different roles joined in, whether it was their first attempt or something more familiar.

This time, we valued storytelling as much as technique.
Each cup was judged not only by its execution, but also by the story behind it.

First place went to a koala design. It was chosen for the positive response it had received from customers, making it a natural extension of EEF’s everyday moments.

Second place presented a highly refined piece of latte art, while third place shared a personal story through a drawing of a sick pet, bringing a sense of emotion and connection.

With over 15 participants, each person took turns presenting their cup along with a short explanation, sharing their own perspective.

Music was another layer of the experience. Each participant was paired with a carefully chosen track, shaping the atmosphere of each moment.

Through this, the sense of connection within the team grew stronger. We hope to expand this into a public latte art competition someday.
